Allocation of Club places
The 2019 Marathon takes place on Sunday 28 April.
The Marathon organisers’ criteria for allocating places to Clubs is likely mean that Bromsgrove & Redditch AC will receive only one place.
The Club’s policy to allocate places to members for the 2019 Marathon will be:
1. Club places will be allocated to fully paid-up Club members who must have received a rejection slip/email/magazine as a result of an unsuccessful on-line application for the London Marathon 2019, and who did not get a Club place for the 2018 event. The rejection document must be shown to a Club Officer.
2. Requests for Club places must be received on or before 13 November 2018. A ballot will be held at the scheduled Club Committee on that date if the number of requests exceed places. The outcome will made known immediately.
3. The member(s) receiving Club places must then apply for their race entry via me. Note that the race organisers impose very strict deadlines for applications. The successful Club member(s) will be given the deadlines when they are published by the organisers.
