B&R ‘A’ team finished 7th on the day out of 17 teams, and are also 7th overall in the season results after three races.
Kings Heath Running Club hosted the third Birmingham League Division 2 race at Cofton Park which was a local venue for B&R and 20 Athletes lined up for the 3 lap (six mile) course.
The race was won by Chris Perrin from Cannock and Stafford AC, followed by Telford’s evergreen V50 runner Paul Ward and Will Ferguson from CLC Striders.
B&R’s Tim Spencer started well but unfortunately had to pull out injured meaning Mark Appleton was first back for the club in 35th position.
Special mention to Halesowen’s Andy Nock who finished 210th in his 150th Birmingham League race which, considering there are only 4 per year is an amazing achievement.
