Great results from B&R athletes who competed Wednesday 30 July 2014 at the Midland Veteran’s Track and Field League fixture in Worcester.
Based on these results our men won the fixture by a single point ahead of Worcester. This means that we tie on 30 league points overall with Worcester. However, over the four fixtures this season Worcester’s men have scored more points than us, so Worcester win the division with B&R in second place.
Our women finished the meeting second behind Worcester and also end the season in second place overall. This is a another great performance from the B&R women’s team.
Well done to all of you, and thanks to all who competed. Also a big thank you to those of you who have officiated throughout the season, without the officials these competitions cannot take place.
These results should qualify us to compete in the “A” Cup Final in Stoke on Sunday 31st August.
A timetable with a list of events and age categories will be sent out shortly – athletes please let team captain Calvin know whether you can compete.
(If you’ve never competed before, and you’re over 35 – don’t be shy!)
